The 432px panel fitted neither above nor below the composer in a blank new chat at 1280x860, so Base UI fell back to the trigger's right and covered the input. The panel is now 404px (nav gap 0), and the Popover only flips between top and bottom (fallbackAxisSide "none", collisionPadding 8). The kit PopoverContent passes collisionAvoidance / collisionPadding to the positioner.
